Rejoicing in God’s provision in the past, we are looking forward to our continued journey with Him as He leads us into our future. Our hope is to see revival in Arvada and in Colorado. Our mission is to do our part to bring it.
We follow JESUS. As the one who claimed to be God-becoming-man to heal His broken creation, He welcomes anyone and everyone to begin a faith-journey into new life. We hunger to do life in His presence, grow into His likeness, and participate in His purposes. Maybe you do too!
Within God’s ultimate plan to make all things new, we follow Jesus… into His loving PURPOSES for any person and community, including Arvada. He leads 4Cs outward to walk alongside friends, neighbors and strangers with His compassion and Good News. We follow Jesus TOGETHER. He leads us into God-filled “covenant” relationships – with Him, each other, and all who call Him Lord. For 4Cs, this includes our affiliation with the Evangelical Covenant Church, a multiethnic movement of over 800 American congregations with mission partnerships in 30+ nations. We hunger to grow in a practical oneness with all who follow Jesus, within our own church, as well as in friendships and shared ministries beyond us. Maybe you do too!
We follow Jesus as his “CHURCH,” God’s one global and eternal family which includes a vast array of distinct faith communities such as 4Cs. We hunger to experience “church” as a Jesus-centered, intergenerational spiritual family that welcomes anyone – with their honest struggles and eager pursuits – into relationships of mutual encouragement in order to follow Jesus together into His presence, likeness and purposes. Arvada has numerous strong churches. If you have not already, we encourage you to consider investing yourself in one as a spiritual home. Of course, you’re always welcome to visit a 4Cs Sunday gathering, 10 am at 6757 Simms St, as well as contact a church staff member if there’s a way we might serve you.
We were started in 1988 by a group of devoted believers who wanted to see Arvada changed for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our first meetings were held in Arvada West High School
We then moved to the shopping center at 64th and Simms.
In December of 1991 we moved into the facility at 8151 Simms St (Now the Apex facility)
On Feb. 2, 2014 we had our first services in our new, and current facility at 6757 Simms St.
While 4C's has held many locations over the years, the heart for Jesus and desire for Jesus to be known in Arvada has stayed strong.
